Yes, the Welshman has won the Tour de France and several Olympic golds.
But this week he’s done something bigger than sport, and raised more that £300,000 for the NHS amid the coronavirus crisis.
Thomas rode indoors for 12 hours for three days in a row as a fundraiser for the NHS, and knocked it out of the park, with the public responding generously.
